Forest Bathing is a Japanese, evidence-based, therapeutic practice of immersing oneself in nature using all five senses to boost well-being. Originating in the 1980s as a stress-relief technique, it involves slow, mindful, and unstructured time in a forest to reduce cortisol, lower blood pressure, and strengthen the immune system.
